Terms and Conditions

Since the new anti-smoking law has been passed and to protect our license, we now have to ensure nobody smokes in the building, including the toilets. Please help us by making sure your guests don’t light up anywhere on the premises. We are now liable for ensuring there is no smoking and therefore we have to ask people who insist on smoking to leave.

SECURITY - For the safety and security of our customers, we have installed CCTV which records at an offsite centre

We have put a lot of effort into making the interior of the suite luxurious and so we can’t allow any decorations or decorative sprays, cellotape, drawing pins, blue-tac or anything else to be fixed to the walls or ceilings. We have found that decorated tables really bring plenty of colour and festivity to the hall.

The management reserve the right to ask any individual to leave the Suite if their behaviour is not appropriate.

The dress code for Park View Suite is smart / casual, no trainers, collarless t-shirts etc.

A provisional booking can only be held for 14 days and will be confirmed when a non-refundable deposit has been paid.

CHRISTMAS BOOKINGS - Final payment will need to be paid at least 14 days prior to your Christmas party booking. At this time we will also ask for your final numbers, table positions and menu choices because they can't be changed after this. For these parties, there is a £10 per head non-refundable deposit payable at the time of booking.

Also, the bar will close at 4 pm after the Christmas lunches and 1 am for the Christmas party nights. At this frantically busy time, we rely on the help and co-operation of everyone to ensure that guests leave when they finish their drinks. We hope the Suite can be emptied by 4.20pm and 1.20am respectively because there is an enormous amount of cleaning and preparation need for the next event.

Payments can be made in cash, cheque, and credit / debit card. However, all credit card transactions are unfortunately subject to a 5 % charge. Debit cards transactions are free of charges.

Please remember that you as the organiser are responsible for your guests and the way they treat the premises.

Please make sure you take everything with you when the event is finished because we can’t be held responsible for anything which is lost or damaged.

Bookings are made on the basis that the Suite provides all food and drink. If you open your own wine or sprits at the Suite, there will be a charge made of £5 per bottle.

The Park View Suite will attempt to accommodate any transfer dates, however if no suitable date can be arranged and the event is cancelled, the Booking Deposit cannot be refunded.

If you are supplying your own DJ or entertainment for an exclusive evening, please ensure that we have sight of the performer’s liability insurance policy before the event.

Music levels must be kept at a reasonable level and we ask that guests leave the Suite quietly when evening functions finish so as to respect the residents of nearby houses.

If suppliers of cakes, flowers or entertainment fail to appear on time, we cannot take responsibility for this, whether recommended by us or otherwise.
The Park View Suite operate a Challenge 21 policy which means anyone who appears to be younger than 21 will be asked to produce valid identification. If they cannot produce their ID, they will not be allowed to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages at the suite.
